The school system has not adjusted to the new paradigms of modern economy and society.
\nMost Schools are still focused in passing on knowledge, on \u2018shaping children\u2019s minds\u2019 by giving them\u00a0answers instead of stimulating them to ask questions.
\nMost Schools are still preparing their students to be \u2018employees\u2019 working for companies that operate in\u00a0an economy they don\u2019t have a clue what it will look like in 5 or 10 years\u2019 time!<\/p>\n

In today\u2019s world Emotional Intelligence (EQ)<\/strong> is as important as IQ (if not more).
\nIt is not about how intelligent you are but how you use the intelligence you have to get the results you\u00a0want<\/strong> in the \u2018real world\u2019.<\/p>\n

If Schools don\u2019t foster experiential learning and engage children in analytic reasoning and critical\u00a0thinking, they are failing their mission to prepare them for the future.
\nIf Schools don\u2019t show a positive attitude towards independence, risk-taking and learning from failure\u00a0they are killing creativity because if children who grow up being afraid of being wrong they will never be\u00a0original.<\/p>\n

Children who don\u2019t develop communication skills, flexibility, who don\u2019t learn to understand and deal with\u00a0their own emotions and those of others, will not be able to master their destiny and be happy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We must all take responsibility for our lives<\/strong> and create our own master plan.
\nTrue entrepreneurship is an attitude \u2013 it\u2019s the \u2018Me Inc<\/strong> \u2013 the adrenaline that comes from trusting yourself\u00a0and your ability to respond to any challenges that come your way.<\/p>\n

If we have a job, we will be working \u2018with\u2019<\/strong> a company instead of \u2018for\u2019 a company. We will buy into the\u00a0company mission and values<\/strong> but regard it as a win-win<\/strong> arrangement, not an obligation. Therefore we\u00a0will be able to keep our freedom and the objectivity to realize when the situation no longer serves our\u00a0life purpose.<\/p>\n

If we start our own business, we must be flexible and unconventional in our way of thinking. We must\u00a0plan and work the plan<\/strong> but be prepared to course correct every step of the way to keep true to our\u00a0values and our vision.<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s world needs leaders with an entrepreneurial mind.<\/strong> Leaders who inspire others to pursue their\u00a0dreams, with a positive attitude and the belief that as a team they accomplish goals they could not have\u00a0reached on their own.<\/strong> Leaders who are competitive but also socially responsible looking beyond short\u00a0term profit into a sustainable way of life building a legacy to their children.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
